Ann McEntee and the Friends of Human Relatons were joined by supporters on April 12, 2013 at our second annual Jim McEntee Scholarship Fundraiser and Celebration. The evening’s program featured a tribute to Jim McEntee by Teresa Castellanos, community leader and Trustee, San Jose Unified School District, music provided by well-known jazz singer Cheryl Bennett-Scales and pianist Bennett Roth-Newell, delicious Tapas & Desserts from Casa Vicky restaurant, and an opportunity to hear from Lucina Sanchez, one of the Jim McEntee Scholarship recipients last year. Attendees also enjoyed the very best of contemporary Latino art from MACLA’s 15th Annual Auction which was on display in the gallery.
