Ann McEntee and the Friends of Human Relatons were joined by supporters on April 11, 2014 at our third annual Jim McEntee Scholarship Fundraiser and Celebration. The evening’s program featured apetizers catered by Cafe Pomegranate, classical guitarist Jaime Ponce and our special guest, County Supervisor Cindy Chavez, speaking on the “Legacy of Jim McEntee.” Another special guest speaker was previous student scholarship recipient Diana Bustamante, who described how education had broadened her world. Attendees also enjoyed the very best of contemporary Latino art from MACLA’s 16th Annual Auction which was on display in the gallery.
